NEW DIGS FOR CHICAGO'S 1ST MIDDLE EASTERN DANCE SCHOOL

On September 12, 2004, Jasmin Jahal School of Dance will celebrate the Grand Opening of their new studio. It is the only school of it's type in Chicago. With the vision of its internationally-respected Artistic Director, Jasmin Jahal, this school has a nationally-recognized reputation for producing the most-educated, thoroughly trained performers and instructors of Middle Eastern dance. The new location is 4037 North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago's northwest side.

The school's students win awards for their tasteful, authentic shows and are the most popular belly dance performers throughout the Chicagoland area. It's a haven for those who love the arts of the Middle East, particularly Egypt. Everyone from enthusiast to hobbyist to professional will find joy in belly dance.

Jasmin Jahal reaches out to both Western and Middle Eastern communities opening their hearts and minds to the beauty found in Middle Eastern dance and music. Jasmin being sensitive to the World's pain, offers the Middle Eastern arts as a healing post-9/11 tool for these difficult times. When the dance is performed by a skilled dancer, who has taken the time to learn about the culture, history and musical interpretation, it is truly an inspiring and emotional experience.
