Pre-Registration vs. Regular Tuition Rates:
If you register in full on or before Dec 17, 2011 for the Winter session #1, or on or before Feb 18 for Winter session #2, you qualify for discounted tuition! Discounted Tuition for one 60-minute class is only $90, versus the Regular Tuition rate of $100. Discounted Tuition for one 75-minutes class is only $110, versus the Regular Tuition rate of $120. Discounted Tuition for Girls Belly Dance (a 45-min class) is only $70, versus the Regular Tuition rate of $75.
Registration in Chicago
You may register in person at the studio or over the telephone. Cash, Visa, Discover or MasterCard are accepted. Money Orders are accepted if made payable to "Jasmin Jahal School of Dance". Sorry, no personal checks. You will need to fill out a Registration and Liability form on the first day of class. Girls must have a guardian 18 years old or older sign their liability form. ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Registration in Suburbs
Jasmin teaches classes at the Skokie Park District in Skokie, IL, and at the Infinity Foundation in Highland Park, IL on Mondays only. Please register directly with those facilities. Tuition fees are set by those facilities and are not affected by fees or rules at the Jasmin Jahal School of Dance. See details on the "Special Classes" page of the drop-down menu.
Class Size & Cancellation
A minimum of 6 students is required to hold any class. If a class has less than 6 students registered by the second week of class, it will be cancelled. The studio will contact you should this occur, but it is always wise to call or check the class schedule page to see if a class has been cancelled.
Missed Classes
May be made up within the current 6 week session, but cannot be carried over to the next term. You may also make up a belly dance class in the Belly Aerobics class.
Class Attire
Belly Dance: Hip scarf, leotards or leggings, bare feet or dance shoes. No jeans, baggy clothes, street clothes or sweat suits. Please acquire a set of finger cymbals for use in any level that includes cymbal playing (cymbals may be purchased at the studio). Level 3 dancers are required to wear ballet slippers.
Belly Aerobics: Exercise clothes and gym shoes that are not worn outdoors.
Tribal Fusion: Quiet hip scarves preferred, finger cymbals required.
